A gas leak led to a building evacuation at 631 Main Street Wednesday morning, according to the Greenville Fire Department.
The department said at 7:30 a.m. they got a call about a possible gas leak.
They contacted Piedmont Natural Gas who confirmed a leak into the sanitary sewer system.
Piedmont Natural Gas isolated the leak and stopped it.
