A Greenville man is under arrest after authorities say he robbed a bank last Tuesday.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year old Dane Michael Kelley and charged him with armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
In a prepared release, the Sheriff’s Office stated that Kelley entered Arthur’s State Bank, located at 1781 Woodruff Road, in Greenville, around 4:30 pm on August 24 and displayed a weapon. The Sheriff’s Office said that Kelley demanded money from the teller, exited the business and fled on foot.
The Sheriff’s Office said they utilized witness statements and first hand accounts, as well as documented evidence, to charge Kelley with the crimes.
Kelley voluntarily turned himself in to Greenville County Sheriff’s deputies at the Law Enforcement Center around 1 pm Wednesday.
