A shooting injured one on Old Augusta Road Monday evening, according to Greenville Police officers.
Officers say four men went into the house to confront two men about a gun.
After shots rang out, police say, one of the four men who went to the home, was shot in his side.
They say after the altercation, one man took off on foot, the other three, including the man who was shot, jumped in a white two door chevrolet. Shortly after, police stopped them on Lanneau Drive in Greenville.
Lt. Hunt with the Greenville PD says, the person who was shot was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital and underwent surgery.
He says, officers have been questioning the driver in this incident and the third person in the car took off on foot.
We're told the two men living at the house,where the shooting happened, both fled the scene, and police have not been able to talk to them.
