One person is dead after a Monday morning accident in Greenville.
The wreck happened at 7:30 on Batesville Road, near Highway 146.
According to Lance Cpl. Bill Rhyne of the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the driver of a 2003 Buick sedan, identified as 71-year-old Carlton Fuller, was driving south on Batesville Road when he crossed the center line and struck another vehicle head on.
Fuller was transported by ambulance to Greenville Memorial Hospital where he later died.
The driver of the second vehicle, identified as 53-year old Jae Wihovich, of Simpsonville, was wearing a seatbelt and transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital for what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
