Tree was struck by lightning at Brevard College.
Brevard College says a student and a non-student were transported to the hospital after lightning struck a tree at the school.
They do not believe these people were struck by lightning.
The lightning strike happened between the gym on campus and a residence hall.
The college says they do have some broken windows and a small amount of damage around their campus.
The fire department was called to the scene where they were going through buildings and the campus to make sure things are safe.
