A man admitted to performing sexual acts on a child and was sentenced to 12 years in jail.
Thirteenth Circuit Solicitor Walt Wilkins announced that Matthew Blyth Kerr, 46, pled guilty to performing a lewd act upon a child. According to Wilkins, Kerr befriended the child's family and performed sexual acts on the child while the child spent the night at his home.
At the plea hearing, Wilkins stated that Kerr was na neighbor of the family and attended various family events with them. The victim told his parents that between April 4 and May 11, 2008, Kerr abused him and police were notified.
