The Greenville County Sheriff's Office arrested a man from Travelers Rest after authorities say he had sexual relations with a child.
Greenville County Sheriff's Office spokesman Lt. Shea Smith said that 29-year old Wesley James Williams, of Travelers Rest, was charged with first degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor. According to Smith, Williams was arrested around 2 pm Tuesday after investigators determined that he forced a young girl to perform a sex act while the two were inside a home on January 16.
Williams, who is a firefighter, is currently being detained at the Greenville County Detention Center without bond.
