Police say a Wilson man has stabbed his wife and kidnapped their son after an argument.
Investigators say 34-year-old Rey Fernando Baustista Osorio stabbed his wife in the chest around 2:30 a.m. Saturday. She is in the hospital in critical condition.
Authorities issued an Amber Alert on Saturday for 5-year-old Isaac Peidra, saying his father is likely taking him either to Wayne County, where he has friends, or Mexico.
Investigators say Osorio was last seen in a Black 2001 Nissan Xterra with North Carolina license tag YWT1422.
