Abbeville Police say a suspect stole an ambulance, attempted to flee and hit a police car.
Police say they received a 911 hang up at the Anki Food store off of Greenville Street in Abbeville reporting a stolen ambulance.
When they arrived, police say William Timothy Myers attempted to flee in the ambulance.
Another officer pulled into the parking lot and Myers hit the police car with the ambulance, they say.
No one was injured in the incident.
Police arrested Myers. When they did, they say they found a spear in the ambulance with him.
Myers is charged with two counts of injury to property, possession of a stolen vehicle, assault and battery and DUI with open container.
