A new Chancellor for the University of South Carolina Upstate will be named on Wednesday.
University of South Carolina President Harris Pastides will speak at an 11 a.m. press conference at the school, at which time the new Chancellor will be announced. It is believed that the school has narrowed its choice to four candidates.
Last December, USC Upstate Chancellor John Stockwell announced he would step down this August after 17 years at the school.
