An Upstate surgeon is out of jail after being arrested by the Duncan PD.
Authorities charged Dr. Maureen Burdett with driving under the influence on Saturday.
The Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation says Burdett is still licensed to practice in the state, but her arrest could trigger an investigation.
We’ve also learned that Burdett has privileges at Upstate Carolina Medical Center in Gaffney.
We contacted the hospital to see if that was still the case. Our calls haven’t been returned.
