A wreck on John B. White Sr. Boulevard blocked traffic for nearly six hours Wednesday.
The wreck happened at about 2:30 pm at the intersection of John B. White Sr. Blvd. and Southport Road, according to Capt. Randy Hardy of Spartanburg Public Safety. Hardy said the tractor trailer crashed, splitting the trailer in half, blocking two westbound lanes on the road.
One lane was open until the wreck was cleared up around 8:10 pm.
Officials say the truck was filled with reusable rags. No one was injured.
