Former Clemson lineman Chester McGlockton has died at the age of 42.
Officials say he died in his sleep overnight Tuesday.
McGlockton went on to play in the NFL for the Raiders, Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos and New York Jets. He played in four Pro Bowls and was most recently working as a defensive assistant coach at Stanford.
McGlockton was also inducted into the South Carolina Sports Hall of Fame this year.
He was a native of Whiteville, N.C.
