A man from Greenville was arrested and charged with committing lewd acts on a minor.
Greenville County Sheriff's Office spokesman Zach Hinton said that 42-year old Rodney McDonald was arrested Monday and charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor, two counts of incest and two counts of committing or attempting to perform a lewd act on a minor.
According to Hinton, the incidents happened between July 2010 and September 2011. Warrants show that the victim told investigators that McDonald had sexual intercourse with her while spending the night and he was aware of her age. The victim also told investigators that McDonald touched her inappropriately.
McDonald is being held without bond at the Greenville County Detention Center.
