An investigation is underway into the death of a 27 year-old Westminster man. The Oconee County Coroner says Joshua Caleb Wilbanks died Sunday afternoon at Greenville Memorial as a result of a head injury sustained in a motor vehicle collision that occurred Saturday night.
The SC Highway Patrol says this was a single vehicle accient on North Horseshoe Bridge Road near Westminster. Reports state Wilbanks vehicle ran off the right shoulder of the roadway and then struck a culvert, causing the vehicle to rollover, and he was ejected from the vehicle.
The coroner's office says this accident has been ruled as an accident.
