Half of a dozen Presidential candidates will make their way to South Carolina Monday, for a GOP forum hosted by Senator Jim DeMint.
Mitt Romney, Rick Perry, Michelle Bachmann, Herman Cain, Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich have agreed to attend the “Palmetto Freedom Forum” in Columbia.
On ABC’s “This Week,” Senator DeMint said he's not going to endorse any candidate for months, and he's waiting to see what they have to say at the forum.
“This forum's going to be very helpful to me and others, because instead of forcing them to answer my questions, we are going to encourage them to define the issues on their own terms,” said DeMint. “This will give us a little bit deeper understanding on how they view the Constitution and their role as President.”
The "Palmetto Freedom Forum" starts at 3:00pm Monday. CNN and ETV will broadcast the event.
