Gaffney fire officials say a man was shocked when he came in contact with power lines while helping move a house.
Lt. Joshua Borders says the man was on top of a frame trailer that was moving the house. He was working to make sure power lines and wires were avoided during the move from near Upstate Carolina Medical Center to a site on Union Highway in Cherokee County.
A few miles short of the destination, officials say he touched a live power line and was shocked.
He was alert when firefighters arrived, but was airlifted to Augusta Burn Center.
