Asheville Police say they have arrested the man wanted in connection to downtown break-ins.
Julian McKinnley Rector was taken into custody Thursday.
He is charged with breaking and entering, damage to property and larceny. Additional charges are pending.
Rector is being held in the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a $17,500 bond.

Asheville police are asking for your help finding a man wanted for questioning in a series of downtown break-ins.
They think Julian McKinnley Rector is involved in more than a dozen break-ins involving rocks being thrown through windows of businesses in order to steal the cash register.
Rector is wanted on several outstanding warrants. His last known address was in Weaverville.

The Asheville Police Department is asking for your help solving a series of break-ins.
Investigators think the six incidents that took place since January 6 in downtown Asheville and Merrimon Ave corridor are all connected.
Officials say each break-in has similar characteristics where a suspect throws something through a window and takes off with a cash register or tip jar.
He is described as a white male standing between 5'8" and 5'11"in his early 20's with a thin build wearing a hooded jacket and baggy pants.
The last reported break-in happened Thursday night at the House of Fabric on Merrimon Avenue. Someone saw it take place and followed the suspect to Hillside Street when the man got away.

Wonderland on Patton Avenue on January 16
Instant Karma on Lexington Avenue on January 10
