Several weeks ago a tornado hit Rutherford County leaving damage to a number of homes along Piney Mountain Road.
Nearly a dozen homes were damaged by the 115 mph hour winds. On Saturday 12 churches from around the area gathered together to help clean-up along Piney Mountain Road. “7 On Your Side” was there to show you their progress.

According to a release, the Climate Prediction Center says there’s a 70 percent chance of nine to 15 named storms during the 2012 Atlantic Hurricane season.
