Officials in Greenville are investigating a Monday morning armed robbery at the Kangaroo Gas Station on Haywood Road and Airport Road.
Investigators say white male asked for a carton of cigarettes. When the clerk put them on the counter he noticed the man had his hand in his pocket to make it look like he was pointing a gun at him.
The man told the clerk to give him all of the money in the register and left with the cash.
He is described as being in his mid-20s, around 6 feet tall and 180 pounds wearing a dark brown leather jacket, blue jeans and a red beanie cap.
