Pickens County Sheriff’s deputies charged a taxi driver with possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
Cedric Terrell Young, 30, of Greenville is charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana according to the arrest warrant.
Deputies say they spotted a cab drifting across the center of Highway 8 near Trotter Road Saturday evening.
The driver was stopped and after providing a warning for a traffic violation, the deputy obtained permission to search the cab.
PCSO investigators say they found 13 baggies of packaged marijuana in a bag next to the driver’s seat.
These items were seized, the driver was placed under arrest and the taxi company was notified to take possession of the cab.
