A man was seriously assaulted outside of a convenience store in Union County Tuesday night.
Union County Sheriff David Taylor said that 43-year old Darnell Johnson, of Carlisle, became involved in an altercation with an acquaintance, identified as 29-year old Nicholas Montrae Jeter, also of Carlisle, in the parking lot of a Li'l Cricket convenience store in Carlisle.
