Officials say a burglar was caught in the act in Anderson County.
Deputies were called to a home on Old Denver Road Monday for a robbery in progress.
When they arrived, a deputy found the man still in the home. He ran when he saw the deputy, but was caught after a short chase.
Officials say he was found with a stolen television remote in his hand.
He has been identified as Stanley Dale Norris, 45, of Anderson.
Norris has been charged with burglary and grand larceny and is being held at the Anderson County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
