Discover The Dinosaur Exhibit Gets Underway

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Children and adults of all ages showed up at the TD Convention Center Friday as the Discover The Dinosaurs exhibit opened.

The exhibit has over 60 animatronics and museum-quality replica dinosaurs on display. The exhibit is designed for educational purposes and to help teach children about history.

"It's a good opportunity to learn more about the "Age of the Dinosaur" and where they come from," said Tracey Beasley, Manager of Discover The Dinosaurs. "And on the other side of that, just have some fun."

Children and adults are able to get an up close look at the dinosaurs and touch them, which is normally not allowed in most museum exhibits. People can also enjoy other activities such as the Dino Dig, Dino Den play area, Dino rides and miniature golf.

The exhibit is open until Sunday. It is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 pm. Admission is $14 for people over 12 year old, $9 for people over 65 and children ages 2 thru 11 years of age. Children under 2 get in free.
