Renewable Water Resources Plans Weekend Repairs to Complete Line Break Construction
Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) shut down the sewer line and halted repairs to reopen West Georgia Road on Thursday, February 9th, at 6:30pm through all day Friday to allow work commute traffic through unrestricted.
Final repairs will resume early Saturday morning, February 11th, and are expected to be completed by Sunday at 5pm. During that time, West Georgia Road will be fully closed to through-traffic, permitting access to local residents only. ReWa is currently reaching out to the affected neighborhoods with door-to-door notices where the temporary Mobile Command Center is set-up and the primary construction is occurring.
The affected line provides services to the Perry Correctional Institute only, for which ReWa is currently providing an alternate measure of pumping and hauling. No residential service has been impacted.
