A Clinton woman has been charged with distributing meth.
The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office announced a charge Tuesday against Barbara J. Kernells, 56, for distribution of methamphetamine.
Kernalls was taken to the Johnson Detention Center after the arrest.
She has been released on a $25,000 personal recognizance bond.

According to a release, the Climate Prediction Center says there’s a 70 percent chance of nine to 15 named storms during the 2012 Atlantic Hurricane season.
