Flames Destroy Spartanburg County Home, Two Pets Die

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Flames have destroyed a mobile home in Spartanburg County.

It happened Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. on Jordan Creek Road in Inman.

North Spartanburg and Tyger River fire departments were called to the fire.

Firefighters say there is heavy smoke and water damage to the single family home.

There were people home at the time the fire started but they were able to make it out safely.

However two animals were killed in the fire.

Animal control officers tell our coverage partners at the Spartanburg Herald-Journal they seized four other dogs, which were extremely thin, tied up in the backyard of a mobile home.

The investigation into the cause of the fire continues.
