The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission is proposing night hunting of coyotes and feral hogs. The commission says the seasons would be year-round, and would allow the hunting on Sundays on private lands with archery equipment.
Public comment is being invited online, by email or by attending one of the public hearings across the state.

Night hunting is one means of controlling the population of coyotes and feral swine, both of which are non-native to North Carolina, according to the commission.
