A jury found a man from Anderson guilty for a home invasion last year.
Jamario Quinton Jones, 23, was found guilty of first-degree burglary, armed robbery and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. Judge Lawton McIntosh sentenced Jones to 25 years in prison.
"Jamario Quinton Jones clearly poses a dangerous risk to the community and this sentence will ensure that he spends the majority of his adult life behind bars where he belongs," said 10th Circuit Solicitor Chrissy Adams.
Evidence presented during the trial established that Jones forcibly entered a residence in Belton on April 15. He forced one of the victims to the floor at gunpoint and demanded money. Jones fled the scene with $350 in cash and a cell phone that belonged to one of the victims.
