The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office charged a Clinton man with crimes involving meth after a fire call to a home.
Billy Joe Roberts, 41, is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and unlawful disposal of methamphetamine waste.
LCSO deputies say they were called to a home on Forest Road Tuesday after Clinton Public Safety reported a possible fire.
CPS officers say they found several items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine near an outbuilding at the residence.
Laurens County Sheriff’s Office Meth Lab Technicians located several items on that property.
Roberts was transported to the Johnson Detention Center where is awaits a bond hearing.
