Local attorneys are set to speak on a variety of legal topics across the Upstate this month.
The South Carolina Bar Pro Bono Program is sponsoring eight free legal clinics in the Spartanburg area in February.
They include:
• Feb. 2 - Wills, estates and probate, featuring attorney Paul C. MacPhail. The clinic will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Landrum Branch Library located at 111 E. Asbury Dr. in Landrum.
• Feb. 9 - Family law issues (separation, divorce and custody/visitation), featuring attorney Leon L. Campbell. The clinic will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Spartanburg County Public Library-Main Branch located at 151 S. Church St. in Spartanburg.
• Feb. 13 - Family law issues (separation, divorce and custody/visitation), featuring attorney D. Alan Lazenby. The clinic will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Pacolet Branch Library located at 390 W. Main St. in Pacolet.
• Feb. 14 - Family law issues (separation, divorce and custody/visitation), featuring attorney Stephen C. Wofford. The clinic will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Chesnee Branch Library located at 100 Pickens Ave. in Chesnee.
• Feb. 16 - Family law issues (separation, divorce and custody/visitation), featuring attorney J. Edwin McDonnell. The clinic will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Woodruff Branch Library located at 270 E. Hayne St. in Woodruff.
• Feb. 23 - Wills, estates and probate, featuring attorney Reginald L. Foster. The clinic will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Inman Branch Library located at 50 Mill St. in Inman.
• Feb. 23 - Wills, estates and probate, featuring attorney William O. Pressley Jr. The clinic will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Spartanburg County Public Library-Main Branch located at 151 S. Church St. in Spartanburg.
• Feb. 28 - Family law issues (separation, divorce and custody/visitation), featuring attorney Andrea A. Moore. The clinic will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Westside Branch Library located at 528 Oak Grove Rd. in Spartanburg.
Seminars are free for anyone interested in attending.
