The Postal Service is looking to fill 180 open positions across South Carolina.
The Greater South Carolina Postal District announced Friday the hiring for five entry-level positions in 32 locations, some here in the Upstate.
The postings will be available for the next 7 to 10 days. They include Postmaster Relief, Postal Support Employee, Rural Carrier Associate, Transitional Employee and Temporary Rural Carrier.
Locations in the Upstate include Belton, Campobello, Donalds, Duncan, Greer, Inman, Iva, Joanna, Jonesville, Laurens, Moore, Tamassee, Travelers Rest and Walhalla.
These jobs are part-time positions, but Postal Service officials say they are the first step on the path to becoming a full-time, regular rural carrier with full benefits.
