A 16-year old driver has been charged after a collision with a Greenville County school bus Tuesday morning.
The Greenville County School District says the crash happened just before 8:00 a.m. at Five Forks Road and Parkside Drive.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the 16-year old was driving a 2011 BMW north on Parkside Drive and pulled out in front of the bus at Highway 296.
The bus was carrying 13 Mauldin High School students according to the district.
The driver of the BMW was taken by ambulance to Greenville Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. SCHP troopers will charge the driver with failure to yield right of way.
No injuries were reported on the bus and both drivers were wearing seat belts.
Another bus transported the students to school.
