Thursday 10:06 a.m. Update
Ryan Roth and Matt Holbrook, both in their mid-20s and from Georgia, emerged from the woods around 4:00 a.m. where there car was parked at Fishtop Mountain in Polk County, according to our coverage partners at The Times-News.

The search is over for two missing kayakers in Western North Carolina. Search and rescue crews from North Carolina and South Carolina combed two access points on the Green River late Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Helicopters were brought in using infrared devices in hopes of picking up any sign of the two men.
A friend told deputies the kayakers got into the river in Henderson County and planned to get out in Polk County where their car was parked.
Search teams were out until 3:00 a.m. but around 4:00 a.m. the men walked out of the woods unharmed. They told deputies they got lost.
