One man has been charged following a homicide in the town of Central.
The incident happened Thursday evening on Watkins Street in the town limits.
A passerby saw a fight and called for help around 7:30 p.m.
Central Police Chief Kerry Avery said they found a man stabbed to death and another person who was wounded and taken to the hospital.
The Pickens County Coroner's Office Friday morning released the name of the man who died. They say 59-year-old Roger Myles died from a stab wound to the neck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gerald Wade Hicks has been charged with murder.
