Let The Leaves Begin!

»  Comments | Post a Comment

I apologize for the delay in getting new blogs up, but I have been very busy filling in for Christy Henderson as she has been on maternity leave. She returns Friday the 24th and I will drift back to the weekend shows and working on my Go Green pieces. Speaking of green, it is getting to be that time of the season where the leaves go from green to red, yellow and brown. This is something special for me to see as I grew up on the west coast, where there aren't that many "changing" leaves around. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of places in the mountains around Las Vegas to see the brilliant colors. However, it is awesome for me to wake up at my house and look out the window to see the leaves change. From what I can gather this year, it looks like our peak season will come the first week of November. These cooler temperatures and less sunlight make those bright colors on the trees come alive. Some other people have told me the holiday season is great in the Carolinas. I can only hope it's half as good as my first few months in the area have been so far. If you have ideas on some places to check out the leaves, {encode="jcooper@wspa.com" title="email me"}. I would love to check it out!
