Henderson County Deputies: Man May Have Been Stabbed Over Card Game

October 8 Update:
The victim has been identified as Luis Vasquez Antonio.  He is still in stable condition at the hospital. 

The stabbing happened around midnight October 6 in Edneyville.  Deputies arrived at a home off of Piney View Drive in a migrant labor camp, and they found a man who had been stabbed.  The victim was airlifted to Mission St. James Hospital in Asheville.  A witness told investigators an altercation developed of a card game.  Investigators are working to identify the victim and a suspect. The victim is expected to recover, and detectives plan to interview him.
