While fear continues to grip the people of Gaffney and Cherokee County area pastors spent their Sunday morning services trying to ease their fears.
Pastor Joey Turner of Restoration Church made ‘fear’ the subject of his sermon. He feels his congregation should be cautious but brave because they have faith in Christ.
Allen and Ellen Keefer say they are trying to stay strong, but their fear is present. They say they don’t quite feel comfortable in public with the serial killer out there.
The service at Restoration was filled wth prayer and music. At one point, the relatives of the victims were asked to approach the stage and the congregation prayed over them.
Although those we spoke with say they have faith but will feel a lot better once the serial killer is caught.
