Interactive Jim Rex State Of Our Schools

State Superintendent of Education Jim Rex will present his annual “State of Our Schools” address Wednesday morning.  It won’t be the traditional speech this year it will be what the Rex administration is calling an extended, interactive interview simulcast on several television stations across the state.

Rex will be interviewed by WIS-TV anchor Judi Gatson before an audience of school principals at the Summer Leadership Conference, an annual professional development event sponsored in Myrtle Beach by the South Carolina Association of School Administrators.

In addition to her own questions, Gatson will incorporate questions from audience members and from South Carolinians watching the interview on line and interacting in real time via a web-based “chat window.”
