Consumer Watch: A Man Gets Help Getting DTV Coupons After A Viewer Sees His Story

An update to a Seven On Your Side Consumer Watch we brought you last week.

We introduced you to Gary Hammond, one of many people nationwide who has complained that he has not received the DTV converter box coupons he ordered, despite writing three letters to the government.

A viewer who saw our story is giving his coupons to Hammond.

The viewer asked to remain anonymous, but tells us he used to be homeless and now that his luck is better, he wanted to help out.

The donor says he decided to use cable rather than buy converter boxes.  And Gary Hammond is very thankful for his generosity.
