Gas Prices Below $2 In Some Parts Of The Upstate

Gas prices have dropped below $2 a gallon in some areas of the Upstate.  Several stations in Laurens County are selling gas for $1.98 a gallon, according to the interactive gas map on wspa.com.

According to AAA, the average price of gas in the Upstate dropped $0.03 between Wednesday and Thursday, to $2.35 a gallon.  The South Carolina average Thursday is $2.39 a gallon, down $0.05 overnight.  The national average dropped $0.04 to $2.54 a gallon.
