Day and night, the malls, packed.
Some of you waiting in traffic for more than half an hour to get that last minute holiday shopping done.
All this, despite frigid cold temperatures.
Monday night we stood outside the Best Buy in Spartanburg and had no trouble finding lots of procrastinator to talk to.
Shopper Jeff Parker told us, “It’s just crunch time man; I am just trying to pick up the rest of my gifts.“
In other places, people could be seen waiting 10 to 15 minutes just to find parking at area malls and stores.
“It’s crowded—very crowded—and its going to be like this until Christmas Eve when the mall closes,“ Bouvia Jones, a shopper at the Haywood Mall said.
Many of the big department stores have extended their hours until 11pm or midnight to handle the crowds.
They’re all open until 6 christmas eve for those who really wait until the last minute.
Just allow yourself plenty of time wherever you go and happy shopping.
