Thursday South Carolina Lt. Governor Andre Bauer will take questions from Upstate seniors about Medicare. The community conversations will allow seniors and adults with disabilities to sign a petition asking congress to protect the program.
Propsoals aim to cut half a trillion dollars from Medicare to fund health care reform.
There are nearly 115,000 people in Anderson, Greenville and Pickens Counties currently receiving Medicare benefits.
