They told me the facility in Macon that closed, was a Walmart owned warehouse. This company is not Walmart. They are contracting to do a job for Walmart processing their claims. I think they said they have 5 of these centers across the country. I thought too, that many of those folks from Ga. would transfer here. And maybe some did relocate. But I have no knowledge of that. I went to the job fair on Sat. afternoon. It had warmed up quite a bit and I only waited outside about 45 minutes. Not bad at all and a pleasant surprise. I live in the Spartanburg area. Did your friend take the test ?
Thanks alot for your concern. Have you heard anything yet either? I am wondering if all the 400 ppl that lost their jobs in Macon are headed here and leaving us with only 150 openings? We, I mean the people in this are need some work or else ppl are going to be forced to move if they can to another state. So? Are you in the Columbia area? I cannot believe even though you took the test they did not give you a contact number. GOOD LUCK! May someone get a job after standing outside in freezing weather FOREVER!
Oh..sorry…they contacted me by phone to come and take the test.
I am sorry your friend has not heard anything either. I guess we just have to look else where. I really liked those folks that were doing the job fair. Wonder if they are the ones working at the Return Center ? Well good luck with your job search. Something will turn up.
My Fiance applied with a resume and he was more than qualified, where would he check to find out any information. They told him during the application process that he would be notified either by phone or letter to see if he was being considered. We have called all numbers we could find on the internet and they are saying they know nothing. How did they contact you? I would like to know if he is even wasting his time hoping? He was laid off in NOV and needs a job badly.
I took the basic math test for Excel Logistics last week. The lady there said we would be contacted on Friday. It is now Tuesday. I wonder if my area code being different has caused them to not contact me. My cell phone has an 803 area code and I wondered if they over looked that when calling so many numbers beginning with the 864 area code. I have no number to call so I am sort of in limbo….can you help me ?
