Make Money From Home; Legitimately

Make Money From Home; Legitimately

Many people would love to work from home to save gas driving to work or have flexible hours.  We’ve told you that one out of every 55 work-at-home jobs turns out to be a scam.  But there are some legitimate work-at-home jobs and many people who’ve been laid off are now working at home.

Jimmie Mattingly goes to work in his socks.  Said Mattingly, “We treat it like a regular job.  We get up, we shower, we get dressed for work.“

He works at home in customer service for a company called Arise.  Arise hires people to handle customer service, tech support or sales over the phone or internet for national companies.  Mattingly books cruises for Carnival Cruise Lines.  Said Mattingly, “That was one of the biggest things that drew us to Arise, was their nationally based clients, like AAA, Carnival Cruise Lines.“

But it’s not a job for everyone.  Mary Bartlett, a spokesperson for Arise says you have to have the technology at home and good customer service skills.  The pay is $10 to $15 an hour.  Some companies offer incentives.  You don’t have to drive to work and the hours are flexible.

Said Mattingly, “If we want to take a Friday afternoon off, we’ll take it off.  There’s no consequence or anything like that.  It’s a good quality of life.“

Joanne Fogle works from her home, too.  She started selling Mary Kay cosmetics 40 years ago.  Said Fogle, “Having five children, I was able to work and make some money, take care of my kids, take them back and forth to all their activities.“

Today she’s an executive senior sales director.  Consultants buy the make up, then sell it for a commission.  Fogle says the amount of money you make depends on the time you put into it.  Said Fogle, “It’s really basically that you own your own business, you’re the ceo and the president of your own company.“

Fogle says the economy hasn’t slowed down sales.  She said, “Any woman can do what I’m doing if they have a good attitude.“

Who knows? Maybe like Joanne Fogle, you, too, could be driving one of those famous pink Cadillacs.

Be afraid, be very afraid. Mary Kay Cosmetics is a product based pyramid scheme which has harmed many, many women and their families. Mary Kay Cosmetics should be avoided. Get more information at:

These are not jobs you apply for as the printed and video story insinuates.  They are all business opportunities that require cash and/or equipment to become part of.  This is no more than the scams for business opportunities you see in the newspapers.
