Jack in the Box Restaurant Robbed in Greer
A Greer fast food restaurant was robbed by a gunman who also got away with the manager’s car late Wednesday night.
The Jack in the Box at 14011 East Wade Hampton Boulevard was robbed at 11:20 p.m. according to Greer Police.
A man came in through the rear door of the business and had a dark handgun. He demanded money from the safe, took a surveillance tape from the VCR and left the scene with the manager’s vehicle.
The stolen car was found later at Northgate Apartments on Biblebrook Drive. Greer Police say Thursday morning that the videotape has been recovered and investigators are processing it.
The gunman was described by the restaurant manager as a Hispanic man, 20-28 years old, 5’6” to 5’7” and weighed 160-200 pounds. He was wearing a ski mask.

Sounds like he planned this thing out…took the tape. I wonder why he did not destroy it? Or do they have copies already on hand and that is how they got it back?
