Spartanburg Deputies Catch “Dangerous” Armed Robbery Suspect

McKanic has been charged with two counts of armed robbery while armed with a deadly weapon.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office says they have arrested the gunman in an armed robbery. Demarius Allen McKanic, 18, of Spartanburg was wanted for robbing two men late Saturday night at the Country Club Apartments on Country Club Road. He is currently in the Union County Jail.
Two men say they got out of their car and were walking toward an apartment building when a group of individuals - two armed with hand guns - approached them.
Those suspects stole personal electronic items and cash from the victims and then fled the scene in a vehicle with dark tinted windows.
McKanic has been charged with two counts of armed robbery while armed with a deadly weapon.

Glad to hear that this THUG spent the weekend in jail, and with many more to follow hopefully. TRASH like this should not be allowed to roam the streets with the rest of us normal citizens. Thank Spartanburg County and surrounding law officers for catching this TRASH. I hope that he makes a good wife to someone in prison for many years to come!!!
An education and a job will take you a lot further in life than robbery. It’s sad that these young men are raised in a life of crime and do not get a proper education,,,the opportunities are there for everyone. My heart goes out to the ones out there trying and end up victimized. And JAIL is for those that make bad decisions!!!
