Suspect Identified In Gas Station Robberies

Investigators say they’re closer to making some arrests in those robberies we told you about yesterday.

Two customers were robbed outside the Hot Spot on Highway 292 in Inman.
Deputies say the victims were tricked by a group of men who pretended to have won the lottery but when the victims came over to congratulate them the men robbed them.

The sheriff’s office tells us today one of the victims identified two of the robbers in a photo lineup.

Investigators plan to get warrants for the men’s arrest tomorrow.
The men are also wanted for similar crimes in Florida.
