Hanna Makes Landfall
Check out our complete Hanna Coverage, including resources and aid links.
Storm Team 7 meteorologist Justin Cooper says Hanna made landfall north of North Myrtle Beach at about near 3 a.m. on Saturday.
Moving at 20-25 mph, the storm had winds of up to 60-70 mph with higher gusts.
The Hurricane Center told us early Saturday morning that an official time would be issued at the Center’s 5 a.m. public advisory. The Center doesn’t normal issue landfall advisories as they happen with tropical storms, but they do with hurricanes.
