Investigators: Father Shot Son During Dispute

An Anderson County man is shot and killed. Investigators now say his father is a suspect, although no charges have been filed.

It happened Monday night on McClain Road in Honea Path. Investigators say they found 26-year-old Andrew Bratcher of Belton dead on the front porch apparently from a gunshot wound, but after questioning Bratcher's father investigators did not arrest him.

Anderson County Solicitor Chrissy Adams says presently they are reviewing all of the evidence before determining whether charges will be made.

The coroner says the autopsy shows Bratcher bled to death after being shot once in the abdomen. Toxicology results are expected later today.
